ok had my corn about 1 month now and he is feeding fine and shed last week. however since he has shed he wont let me handle him. he is really flinchy and if i manage to pick him up he squirms around so i have to put him back. has anyone else ever seen a sudden mood change in their snake like this before?

thanks in advance

How old is he? Young corns are fast and jumpy as a matter of course. They slow down as they grow and get older. Just handle him as much as you can (don't handle till about 48 hours after a feed) and he will get used to you.

has he got all his shed off. i find sometimes after a shed they are hungry. but my young ones are all pretty wired just now. as long as he has all the shed removed, and has taken a feed, then i would say thats just a normal corn flying around everywhere. the ghost i have i particularly wired. like a helicopter sometimes!!
