Not sure if one of my females is on the way to ovulating or has ovulated. She is just going into shed and has not eaten for 2+ weeks, she has been mated around 8+ times from two different males since i began cooling late october early november. Would like to know if she looks like she has potential eggs inside her?? Here's a few pics of her taken today;

kinda hard to tell, she does look big but big all over, if you have one of her more in a line looking straight down it should be obvious (will look like she's eaten a giant rat!) _________________

Ovulation tends to be through the lower 2/3 of their body, she looks big right through. If you can get a stretched out pic or hanging pic like Scott says then it would be easier to see. Having said that I could not palpate any follicles on my girls and the vet confirmed using ultrasound that ALL the ones I took today had them. Times like this I LOVE being wrong

She's certainly a nice big girl, and I love her colour and pattern.
I'll be interested in this as well _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Hard to tell from those pics, if she hasn't ovulated, she's definitely building towards one! Is she hugging the heat or laying cold side?

when they ovulate you cannot mistake it. I asked and wondered last year the same question. When she finally did ovulate I knew,
Have a look at the ovulation pic on my website.
Below is the pic of her ovulating last year. Rather than looking huge along the length, it is a definate swelling in one area, like ate a large meal.
Hope helps.
