On the plus side to that you basically get the male FREE in the price of a female anyway. This is always good as it provides a back up (just say your male visual pied doesn't get up to size, gets an RI, dies or shows no interest in breeding then you can fall back on the het male which means your project isn't dead for the season). _________________

My thinking exactly Scott. Having a back up or contingency is ALWAYS a good idea. _________________ Fraser Gilchrist

Yeah its always a plus to have the extra snake, what I was trying to say is that if you go out on the hunt for a lone het female you may be dissapointed when you dont find one and also think that if you see a 1.1 for say £600 you might be thinking that your going to pick up a 0.1 for ,say £300, not going to happen I dont think, therefore its better to get the pair.
So basically buy the pair as your unlikely to find lone females..... see I knew I could say it in one sentence lol
Of course I think its better to go with visual males and het females just incase your 'het' male turns out to be a normal... but that wont happen if you buy from a well known breeder, at least if it does you have some comeback... _________________ My website isn't quite there yet, as I got bored half way through writing it.
