The hidden gene in the woma acts exactly the same as the hidden gene in the lesser platty - so would this mean most of you would not buy a lesser either?

If someone was buying a lesser because they wanted to make platinums, I imagine they'd be very careful about whether they were buying one with the hidden gene or not. But surely most of the lesser combos around don't need the hidden gene in order to make them? It's not exactly like the woma, where most of the buzz about it is with the combos it can make *with* the hidden gene ...

(for the record I'd prefer a woma to a lesser, but I'd be disappointed to spend so much money on one and then not be able to make the combos I've seen online using it...)

Good point but to be honest it is very difficult to tell if either of these combos have the hidden gene visually - with the woma combos you can see a visual expression - this is not the case with the lessers.

Like you say though - not all womas carry the gene as is the same with lessers.

Some woma combos you can see the hidden gene expressed.

I guess it makes things more interesting odds wise.

So it is a Caramel Albino, just with a dash of something Co-Dom thrown in for good measure Wink Very Happy

I think there is a fair amount of potential for the Caramels, my personal fave would be to try and get it in with a spider or a pied, I an imagine a Caramel Pied in my head Very Happy
