so if feedings the problem cant i just put them in tubs while feeding and what if they were adult size? could this still be a problem with breeding when not ready?

well they could associate each other with feeding and if the royals smelled like mice you might just have 1 royal instead of 2

you would have to be very careful the smell of the rat/mouse was not lingering on one. but again loads do it with no hastle.
just makes for an easier life to keep them apart till breeding.

There are plenty of reasons why not to house BP's together.

1. Illnesses - If one becomes ill, the second, without doubt, will also become ill.

2. Cannibalism - BP's, along with most breeds of snake, are not social animals. There is always a chance that one may eat the other, obviously dependant on size. If you respect your snake, i really wouldn't take the chance.

3. One will always be the dominant over another. One will become stressed, could become ill and stop feeding.

If you can't house two separately, don't have a second snake. Leave housing them together until breeding season. IMO of course.
