I am thinking of trying out some of this, either exoterra or zoomed, for my ackie. Have people had any success with it and how many bags roughly would be needed for a 4x2x2 (4" depth mostly with 12" depth in his digging half)??

Cheers in advance!

Kate

Hello

We just imported 18kg of the exoterra brand into bali to make a cool enclosure for some gila monsters we just imported from the usa.

I was a bit dissapointed, it only just fills an area of 2ft x 1.5ft x 6 inches deep.

The instructions were non-existant on the packaging also. It does look really cool. It also takes a long time to dry once moulded.

The enclosure size for these animals is 8 ft x 3 ft x 4 ft(high), I was hoping 18kg would stretch a little further.....

On paper it looks like a fantastic product, so far its not been quite what I expected.

Thanks jon. Do you have to mould the burrows and tunnels first or are the occupants able to dig their own once it has set??

Cheers

With this product you can do both, mould a few caves and they can also dig their own burrows.
