HI All,
Just joined you, hope to learn much from you.
Yes, I'm the boamaster from LF and other sites.
I am about to get a bosc monitor, a friend has rescued it from a junkie Sad who mistreated it. He cant keep it and was gonna send it to a rescue centre.
It's about 1.5 ft long so not very old, it appears to be healthy and is fairly tame considering what it's been through. Obviously it will be checked out by vet on arrival and tests done etc.
Basically I need a crash course on keeping bosc's, for a temporary viv, I have a 4x2x2 made from MDF.
I have read the main site here and try and get things right 1st time.
Anyway, advice and comments are most welcome right now, and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Tony

Forgot to say, off the top of my head you want a basking spot near 100 degrees and sandy/dry type substrate. Feed bugs for exercise and rodents for bulk (or, atleast thats how i think of it).

Hi Tony, welcome to the site.

You shouldn't have any probs with the bosc, just watch it doesn't get too fat, any questions just post up on the monitor section.

regards
Scott

Hi Tony welcome to the forum Cool Ideally a basking site of over 100F is preferred but as Scott says post any queries on the monitor forum for maximum viewing
