Im not really sure whether this is unusual or not as ive only been keeping cresties about 12 months but could this be considered a dark pinstripe (something ive never heard of before as all pinstripes ive seen have lighter stripes). He has 2 dark lines running down his back just inside where normal pinstripes are.

Maybe its a reverse pinstripe or maybe it nothing unusual and im getting all excited about nothing?

Sorry about the poor pics, i think my camera is on its way out

p.s. The dark lines are a lot more noticable in real life than they are in photos.

That is weird not seen a pattern like that before Confused I guess you could say its a reverse pinstripe and whack a big price tag on it Laughing
It may become more defined as the gecko grows too

I have seen similar geckos to this being labelled as reverse pinstripes so it could definately be classed as one in my opinion

I have seen a few pics of these on American forums named reverse pinstripes.

I kinda like them.

Breed it, keep back some of the babies and see if you get some more.

Id never heard of a reverse pinstripe before but i think hes kinda cool. Does anyone have any pics of other reverse pinstripes? id like to see hoe he compares.

Ill definitely breed him when he is big enough but he's only 17g at the minute so ill be waiting a good few months yet

I don't know what it would be called but it's pretty cool looking. Smile

Cool I think it looks similar to Anthony Caponettos "patternless pinstripe" project..
