I love normal royal pythons and the babies are always so beautiful. They deffo have the cutest face of any snake in my opinion (don't tell mine I said that). |

Thanks guys i think the next two years are going to be fun big time. Yeah Lynne im going to concentrate on getting her weight up
Ball ache or not lol have you guys got any tips on scenting rodents more than rubbing bedding on the rodent or placing bedding inside the Royals viv or tub to get the Snake in the mood? I have been told royals dont like the smell of rats? If it is true or not? If so don't they like mice scent? i would think they would be similar? _________________ Leopard Geckos

Sounds like you are going to be having some fun
My little ones don't seem to have any objections to rats at all, and the big ones certainly dont I warm them up with a hairdryer as close to where the snakes are housed as possible, that way it wafts the smell about and gets them in the mood If yours is CB then it should be fine with rats, and should have been fed them defrost anyway.
Others will give you more ideas though, braining is another option. _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

No Problem, certainly seems to wind mine up nicely, including the 4 big girlies Also fluffs the rats up a bit, kind of like a wash and brush up for em before they become dinner _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

some of mine wont touch rats, some wont touch mice, so why try and get them eating what they dont want. im just thankful they are eating, so the ones that want rats get rats and the ones that want mice get mice.
if it keeps them eating they can have steak and chips every night!! god i could go that just now, am starving and gordon ramsey is on!!!! _________________
