|
|
Ive had my cresties about 2-3wk they are both around 9ish weeks old. One of them has eaten crickets and puree fruit but the other wont eat crickets but does eat the fruit. Ive observed them at various times during the day and night and have never seen them feed. I give them both fruit puree, CGD and crickets (not all at the same time). The one that eats crickets seems to be a little "fatter" than the other. Ive tried feeding separate but to no avail. Any help or advice on feeding is greatly appreciated. |

at that age the amounts they eat are not alot so they probably are eating and you just dont notice it .
i would reccomend that you use crested gecko diet as this gives them all the dietery requirements for them to grow properly ..
you could try putting some on a spoon or water dropper and putting a bit on there nose to lick off
i do this once a week just to see that my babies are taking some in _________________ Eyeless frogs welcome...

I do put some on their nose which they lick off and will then eat a little bit off my finger. Ive given them the CGD with fruit as they don't seem to like it on its own. I make sure the crickets are gut loaded and covered with nutrabol before i feed them to my cresties. Thanks for the reply Negri |

sounds like your doing all you can .
when they are so small you probably wont even notice the amount they eat .
another thing you can do is give them a light spraying so they get a bit drinking water too _________________ Eyeless frogs welcome...
