My favourite turtle, I can't resist their smiling faces. How is it being kept, the water level looks high... although I guess you can't really tell in those pics.

Hi Dave, the water level isnt as high as it may look, she can sit comfortably with her nose out of the water, but tbh she rarely does Very Happy

I really like those. The way they can blend into the background (provided you give them the right background Laughing

). They are not very active, just sit there until a fish comes by and then gulp it down. They have bred these at Rotterdam zoo. I also saw quite a few for sale at the last shows here, including a very large adult animal.
