Non moving royal Question Question he as been in the hide at the warm end now for 4 days and nights and not moving very much Question but i think the hide is abit big wanna make it smaller but don't want to mess about in there i am kind of worried about it as before he was alway's on the move

is he new to the collection? i just recently got a royal and she's bin in her hide for the past 3 days i think its because its a new surrounding's? or are your temps not correct and it feels its too cold to move? hope this helps cheers Vinny. Smile

How do you know if they are going to shed ??? eyes are not milky belly is not pink ???? but as not moved for over 100 hrs

When was he/ she last fed? maybe digesting its food.

How do you know its not coming out when you are asleep?

Sometimes, it takes them a few days for their eyes and belly to change colour when they are coming up for shed. As long as the temps are okay, its breathing and you have everything else in place, it should be okay.

Have you had it out to have a good look over?

He is a non feeder at the moment

I know he as not been out at night because i put a web cam outside viv on rec and no movement at night

Had a good look over only thing the skin seems to be creased

Creased skin, could mean he's dehydrated.

What i'll suggest here is for others to give opinions on offering either fresh killed or live, to try and kick start him into feeding again.

I wouldn't do this yet as I would wait for more experienced members to contribute their ideas.

Ok he probably had milky eyes you just didnt notice now i would just leave him to be honest maybe for a week or so.post back iF NO IMPROVEMENTS
