We have been working on this project for a while, the babies here are from 2 visual adults. The adults true colours are really diffucult to capture, They vary from caramel to green, the greens always seem to wash out in my photos.

This first photo was taken in direct sunlight with no flash, the dark patches are shadows from a tree. The second photo was taken on an overcast day with a speedlite flash.

If only I had a stuart around the corner to pop round for photos !

Here is a couple of close ups of the adults,

and also a picture of me holding one of them. You can see its quite a small size locality of burm, and incredibly docile.

Hold on Stu not finished the post yet...LOL

There may be a very limited number available in the UK early next year !

So onto the babies, they hatch out different to the adults BUT seem to develop colour over time and are getting very close to the adults colours now at 5 months old.
