|
|
Just got to building an enclosure for a new Ball Python (first one.. I have kept corns for years.. exciting!)
It is 24inch long, 20in high and 15inch back. Obv the pic shows it just stacked together but you get the idea I havent got around to putting the vents in or even edging it yet..
Question is how long would I be able to keep a ball in this for? (it will be roughly 1 month old when it arrives) And would it be better to keep it in a smaller box with a thermostat etc until it is larger?
Thanks!

I don't think Peugeot's were built to hold more than a handbag and a bottle of water.. God knows how I'd do 200 miles with 7 bits of randomly cut wood!
Back on topic.. Just off to get some bulbs and bits .. Would said snakey benefit from a length of bamboo(or pole..) hung halfway up the cage for climbing you think? Sorry.. I am used to my overly lazy corns

A few peopl emight say no dont use the bamboo for climbing as royals dont often climb. My Royal actually climbs alot, but not bamboo. A thick piece of wood would be much better! |

That's what I assumed. OK.. One last question for now.. Lighting. If i were to decide in UV lighting would a strip filament or a Spot light be better? A strip seems an awful amount for a 2ft Viv :S that MAY only last 6 months max ...
