Hi

Just wondered if one was better than the other in terms of nutritional value and benefit to the chameleon, or is it just a case of they are as nutritional as the food you gut-load them with?

I have been feeding my panthers on crickets and roaches up until now but I tried some locusts over the weekend and the chams when mad for them. Could this be just because they were a new food for the chams (the novelty factor) or do most chams prefer locusts to crickets?

thanks

Stuart

Stuart you are what you eat and variety is the spice of life Very Happy i think you answered your own ?s, they do get bored with the same food stuffs i have a panther who's fav at the mo is morio worms, as you said gutload is very important and warmth for crix or they cant digest what they eat, and the gutload has no benificial value Very Happy

My chams go nuts for locusts, but as K said variety is the spice etc.
