i have an adult trio of gargs the females are 47/48 g and the male is 42g, are they old enough to breed next year?? also any tips anyone can give me??

also i have a pair of chewies weighing in at f 63g and m 54 g again really the same questions?

In my opinion those weights are fine for breeding. Ideally the females should be over 40grams and 18 months old before being introduced to the male (both your females are well over that threshold). The weight of the male is not as important however age is, ideally he should be around 12 to 18 months of age.

As a result of their potential aggressive behaviour I house all my gargoyle geckos individually. When the breeding season begins in February/March the male is placed in a female’s enclosure for a week to ten days. Like many other reptile species the gargoyle gecko can retain sperm, therefore this mating period is sufficient to get a good seasons worth of fertile eggs (4 -5 clutches) without the need to reintroduce the pair.

I've not bred chahouas yet and am in the same boat as you. Both my pair are old enough but not sure of breeding weights.
