Hey there Hehe.. Just about 30min ago my sis arrived with my Ball, and he's exploring the viv right now I'm just amazed really.. Sitting and looking at him as he goes.
I just now saw him staring upwards and yawning? Is that something they do or what's up with that? Looked funny anyways He did it like 3 times actually.
Soo excited! _________________

Congratulation on the new arrival. Hope it brings you as much pleasure as mine do me. Good luck with it all.
Paul
PS. O yeah, they often yawn, it stretches the ligaments and tendons in the mouth to put it in shape ready to strike |

Yes it is soooo exciting when a new snake arrives isn't it ? If you can post some photos we'd all love to see them please. About the yawning - probably nothing, but it just could be the start of a respiratory problem. Make sure that the temps are warm enough for it, but remember to give a temp gradient. No panic, if it has a small infection warm temps will probably sort it, just keep an eye on it.
As if you can tear yourself away and NOT keep an eye on it..... |

Oh okay Nice. Goodluck with that.
I'v been watching the lil' fella for a little while now and I'v seen him do the yawn thing again. He just freezez and looks at something, mostly straight upwards, and then he looks like "Oh well nevermind", "yawns" and moves away.
But I guess I shouldn't worry too much. He's moving around alot looks like he's enjoying himself _________________
