If I put eco earth in as a substrate will it be safe as I have heatmats on the floor or the vivs at the warm end, and I boost the day time temps with a red bulb overhead. I'm just worried I'll electrocute them with he moisture on the heatmat. If it's not safe as it is, is there anyway to protect the heatmat and still use slightly damp substrate?
