Hey all,

My corn Angel is usually very friendly and 3 days out of the week between feeding she will willing come down from her branch to see whats going on and be handled.
Lately she just doesn't want to know at all, she hardly ever comes down from her branch unless it's time to be fed.She seems to be sleeping all the time.
Temps are fine and the room she's in is around 73-75.
Could it be because winter is setting in? Is she going into hibernation or something?
She seems healthy enough in herself, still got a good appetite and she's digesting as normal but as i say she doesn't want to be sociable at all.
I would just reach into her viv and bring her out but she entwines herself round the plant thats at the top of the viv on her branch, so it's a bit difficult and i've never been good at knots lol

Any ideas as to why the sudden change in behaviour ?

If nothings changed it may well be that she's just slowing down with the seasons - I still think they pick it up even if their enclosure remains the same.

yeah thats what i was thinking. I had to clean her viv out last night whilst she was sitting on her branch because she wouldn't come out. When the curiosity as to what was going on got too much for her she eventually came down to have a nose about. I reached in to pick her up and she turned and struck at me lol.
Thinking about it now maybe it was because i went away for 3 weeks in september and in that time she wasn't handled, so i think i may just have to get her used to me again.
