came home last night to see my smallest pair of Kimberlys mating, not sure how big the female needs to be to produce eggs but I'm pretty sure she's WAY too small!
I'll try and weigh / measure her in the next few days. |

thanks....I don't hold much hope as the female is tiny, still if I can get sub adults to breed, breeding adults shouldn't be too hard |

the ackies are doing good, the Reds are looking great. Think it will be next year before they breed though. |

How old are your ackies then?
Because ive read a few breeders have had clutches at 6 months with yellows, so presume same for reds. |

I went through a bit of a dry patch were food was concerned, so breeding mine at 6 months would of been pushing it, the yellows are about 8 months old, and I found 1 pair mating good and proper last night, I fed them, then noticed them at the back, by the time I came back with the camera they had stopped to smoke some crickets!
When I next check them out, I see if I had the sexes correctly guessed too. |
