loads! lol i am really sad. i can also name quite a few lizards, and can say te complete clasification of a few species including kingdom, phylum, order etc.

i can also do quite a few amphibians, and mammals. i one french lesson at school i tried to write down as many as i could in 5 mins and i got one a4 page with 3 coloumns lol

I confess to being a bit of an anorak about latin names too! But then again i like the less commonly seen snakes so in most cases it is far more accurate to use the latin name to be sure of the correct species, well thats my excuse anyway! Laughing

Yeah I think your spot on, too many mistakes can be made with just the common names.

I use the ones I have heard people who know how to pronounce them speak.

I prefer to use latin names wherever possible.

I dont know loads, but spiders, now thats another matter Smile
