Hi guys - thanks again for all your advice - didn't move Titch into separate tank as he spent all day/night hiding and we couldn't even find him!
Tonight he has ventured out onto the branch and has been drinking a helluva lot (we have putting water directly onto the leaves by him) and has taken a bit of baby food - wouldn't eat the CGD and thought baby food was better than nothing! However we spotted this funny brown coloured lump on his neck - any ideas what it might be and what we should do? Could it be why he's not been eating/ very active?

Sorry picture is not very good - he is really tiny and I had to zoom right in

Cheers

Carol

He's meant to be eating them not letting them eat him!!

Didn't know they could bite - will he be alright?

Scott recommended we keep a good number in the viv as they wouldn't hurt - the other two are feeding(and pooing!) well, as far as we can see and seem to have grown even in the few days we have had them, but we're losing hope for Titch - we have placed cricks on the leaf near him with tweezers and he has even just had a cricket sitting on his head and has made absolutely no attempt to eat it.

Don't rreally know what else we can do - can't see that putting him in a separate viv will help if he wont eat cricks right in front of or actually on his nose. V. sad and worrying Sad

I would move it into a seperate enclosure( a large plastic faunarium would suffice temporarily) - this way you can keep a close eye on it and make sure it is not being stressed by the other geckos.
I find that black crickets tend to be more aggressive than brown crickets. You could try other livefoods such as wax worms, cockroaches, phoenix worms etc

Also on a stress note, its best to leave the gecko well alone not checking every hour ect not to putting crickets in front of it and so on... leave a couple crickets with it and some CGD or baby food and the just let it be.

Can't really tell be the photo but it could be a cricket bite, although looks far too big for the crickets that you are offering (or should be).

Could it be dried CGD? that dries on them and forms a 'scab' sometimes.

Titch looks in good condition in that photo, especially as it's over a week since you have had him, so he must be feeding on something.

I think perhaps your only option is seperate and then monitor and leave alone.

If not I will be happy to take titch back and set him up in a nursery viv here, let me know by pm if you would like that option (I'll pay for courier Wink )

Well you don't get much better after sales service than that. I can just picture Scott swinging through the trees to pick Titch up Shocked
