Ok I don't want to alarm anyone over this but there MAY be a viral infection in this country now , possibly

I know both the keepers of these snakes. Talked with them on phone other day for a cple hours re this . I have not been psychically in contact with them for ages ,so my own collection , hopefully is fine .

I thought long and hard about posting this but felt it in the best interests of the Herping community to do so .

There are a lot of 'ifs and buts ' ....ie ..the death of my own king snake . I have ruled out any connection though , there were absolutely no similarly presented symptoms in the King.

Hopefully after the results are known to the owner of the original Royal , then we will know more about this . I just wanted ppl to be aware of the possibility of a contagious viral infection .

well it seems to me that the snake in question she only got two weeks ago. so that must have came from somewhere else. just wondering where as i also have taken delivery of two new ones, who are in isolation, but i would rather know.

whole country seems to talking about it. ( Herping Community )

So far , from what I can ascertain ...ONE royal has died , exhibiting signs of progressed RI , POSSIBLY as a result of secondary infection ...other than that info ...no-one really knows any thing else that is conclusive .
