The actual eyeball will remain rounded but appears sunken in its socket when a cham is dehydrated. It may be the angle of the picture that makes it appear this way. A well hydrated chams eyeball will protrude out past the line of the head, if that makes sense.
I have seen a few chams retract their eyeball into the socket and then pop it out again, odd creatures. Sometimes they will also close the eye and extend it fully outwards, it looks gross but they do this when there is something irritating their eye to cleanse it by rubbing it against the eyelid, sometimes even against a branch or twig. Anyway enough about eyeballs.
I had a great clutch of yemen's earlier on in the year where both males and females had quite a lot of blue colour on them. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
