Hi Everyone, apologies for asking a probably stupid question, but what would be you preferred RUB of choice for young Royals. I've seen that most people use 9L but would I be able to use 12L. Obviously I want the best for the little ones, and I know that feeding is sometime easier in a smaller box as they are less stressed. They will eventually move up to 50L size.

I'm going to order some boxes today so I can get them ready and a smaller rack built and set up ready for their arrival Smile

I would use 9l until they grew on then put them into 12l's etc.

I used a 9ltr till hit about 300grms then moved to 18ltr, check my moved to 18ltr post, she is about 300grms in weight to give an idea. Upto that weight the 9lts are perfect and probably beyond.

Thanks everyone for the info, I thought it was better to check as I know you all know the pros and cons from your own snakes. I just didn't want them to be squashed, although I also know that a happy royal is sometimes a squashed royal Smile

Time to order my 9L rubs then, along with another pulse stat and some Hygro/thermos Smile Then time to customize a spare chest of drawers Smile

My royals are coming from Scott, and I know he puts everything into raising them, so don't want to let down all his hard work. I'll post piccies when I get them Smile

Thanks again Smile
