Lots of different make and wattage heat mats have a habit of developing warm/cold spots so that could be why some bits feel hotter or cooler.
She might not have ate for a day or more before you bought her so she could have had nothing to poo out, give her a day or two as you know she ate.
Does her stomach look distended or swollen at all with any dark masses? _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

well we got a poop this morning . not the biggest but still a poop so . not noteced anything unusual about her stomach but will keep an eye out .. Paul thanks hopefully the Leo will be happy with it.
i heard u can get a red light or a blue moonlight buld you can use for night viewing ( not for heat ) can anyone tell me if this is right and if it is ok to use and not stress her . she seems very shy just now and stays in her moist hide till its dark ( i mean very dark all lights out ) it would be good to see her out and about at night . |

I use those marine type blue LED's you can get off ebay in vivs that I want to view at night without the actual room light being on, work a treat and dim enough to not disturb the animal but bright enough for you to see. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |
