I keep my vivs and tubs at 55% usually and then when in the blue I move the water dish down to the hot end which takes it up to the mid 70's. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

thanks for that pete the reason is that i have a 5mm gap between the tub and the top and was wondering if this would provide enough ventilation without drilling holes in the tubs, cos if i needed more holes i was worried about reducing the humidity.
I hope that made sence |

Made sense . I house mine in a snake room , with lidded 50l RUBs , all tubs are drilled , ambient temp is constant 80f I also have a large water bowl that is topped up in the room , provides room with higher humidity as well , up here cold air is kinda dry ! _________________ 3.7.0 Royals

Can I ask, what does everyone use to test humidity, or is it more of a 'by eye' kind of thing. I don't trust those little round sticky hygrometers, and was going to go for digital temp/hygro's.

I mainly use a digital hygro thermometer, but have used those 'little round sticky hygrometers' too
Dont know if it possible to do it by eye |
