OK - final (hopefully!) set up. Got two big branches now and two pieces of bark up sides of tank - see piccies

Do you think it will be ok - have just put one water dish for now and will take Phil's advice re. the cgd in bottle caps for now.

Any comments welcome - I'm exhausted and have now cracked open the vino!!!

Cheers

That looks ace Carol well done, I will let you into my idea about night time lighting tomorrow as I'm a little short on time now and can't get pics etc for you. Is there a light tube or UV tube up in that reflector thing on top of the viv?

Thanks for the encouragement guys

Phil - there are three bulb holders each up to a maximum of 26W - which we only realised when we'd bought a 75W night-glo bulb for it and nearly melted the hood!! Teach us not to read the instructions beforehand!! We could see the viv really well though - which was cool. Thought we'd swap the one 75W for 3 x 25W ones. Look forward to hearing your ideas before we go back to the shops Idea

Cheers

Carol

It looks really good now Carol!
You should be proud and the lil cresties will have a great place to live Very Happy

With the new branches you have put in, it has made the most of the
available space which is always a bonus. Wink

Cool

Alright here goes, on top of my exo I have a light tube with a reflector to send the light down. If you get some coloured plastic (it comes on rolls from craft shops and places) I chose red because I like red Cool but blue/purple etc would work just as good. I cut a few sheets and then taped them together as too much light got through just a single coloured sheet. Then you just put the coloured plastic under the light while you watch them and then when you are done viewing them just turn the lights off altogether. If you understood any of that then hats off to you Laughing , here's some pics to explain a little better.

The trickiest bit is getting the right amount of coloured sheets to keep it dark enough for them to come out but have enough coloured light so that you can see them. But it does work as whenever I have put this on they do come out.
