I told these guys that, after 5 years with nothing to show, they'd better get their act together or we would be talking handbags with matching accessories by the new year.

Dave, I see where you're coming from, get the female gravid (and therefore BIGGER) and THEN turn her into shoes and a belt....smart move...you are indeed a business man extraordinaire 
Failing that, if you do decide to let her lay eggs and hatch them, then think of the childrens range of mini belts etc you could do
