Very nice mate, I've currently got a trio of '05s. There seemed to be loads around this year (2005) compared to 2004. How well are yours feeding?

Hey james
For her first year she fed great, every week except for when shedding.I moved her into her current viv from a sweater box in the summer, and still fed well. Over winter she hasnt been feeding that regularly.

She is still bright and active as normal, just not that interested in food. She hasnt been cooled, with the exception of a ceramic failure. So i m not sure whether there is something that i m not aware of that she is, like air pressure or shorter days outside her viv or something like that or whether she is just being fussy!

One thing i have noticed is that growth isnt constant, she seems to grow in spurts, growing a good few inches and visibly becoming stockier in about 2 months most botably last autumn (i admit that she is the only snake i ve ever kept!).She doesnt defecate that often either, i can certainly believe that they have a much slower metabolism than normal boas!

What about your three? How often do they defecate? Are yours feeding well? How big are they? Where were they from? so many questions!

Cheers Martin

They were dropped around September time and I took them before their first feed. Have managed to get one eating regularly, too much sometimes Laughing, then another which eats well as well but the last one is really not going well. Gonna try some quail soon, just wont take anything at the moment so have been force feeding a few times.
