...everybody! I am new here and have to admit my main reason is for the Invert forum. I was trying to find some info on stick and leaf insect setups and found some of the best here so joined. I do also have some herps so can share that as well.
I live in USA so of course there are several differences (especially in our language - lol!) JK. Actually when it comes to inverts you guys are SO far ahead of us in care. I recently read on list-serve about a complaint re: Phasmids in a store and how your RSPCA acted on it. Here we can rarely get our equivalent to act on pet store Beardie or Chameleon complaints.
Well, I'll write more later, right now I have an urgent phasmid concern so off to post....

Welcome to the forum, I am really interested in inverts (even though I don't own any) - it's good to see someone else interested in them. What do you own? |

Thanks everyone!
Vixen & Stuart - thanks, and I am sure I will find the forums useful
MJ - I am in New England - it's the closest I could get to you!
Phil - I only have roaches (mostly feeder) and phasmids (pets) and I take in the occasional assassin bug and other interesting creature to raise and observe while I am out collecting food for phasmids or Lepidoptera. I also have a lone tarantula (pinktoed) but have had others in the past. I raise Saturniid moths, too (NOT feeders) Now that is an area where UK is WAY more sophisticated and has a wonderful history. In fact, reading books on moths by a Brit author right now - educational and he is hysterical! |
