Im jumping for joy this evening. Before we went out for the day this morning I checked on my nigriceps eggs, they were due to hatch in the last couple of weeks. I had cut a tiny hole in each egg so they could make it out of the egg when ready, as with my two previous clutches one did not make it out of the egg, ( this is a common problem with boigas) and covered them over with moist moss. This morning there were bubbles around the holes on two of the eggs and on returning this evening, they had all hatched successfully. This is the first time out of three clutches that they have all hatched and I'm now walking around with a silly big grin on my face.
Two have reacted quite feistily ( is that a word!!!) and I'm am keeping fingers crossed that they might even strike feed - one ca hope....
Im going to sleep with a smile on my face tonight, lol. _________________ Cheers Angi

My daughter snapped this one last night, whilst I got their tubs ready:-
Now one of each hatchling - they all want to be famous
and I thought I would take a comparison shot but it didnt turn out that well
a new hatchling a 3 month old and an eleven month old. Now they dont look that much bigger but they are slender bodied snakes and the yearling is very long now.
