Paul, have you, at any time contacted me (Herpquest) personally, to enquire about the availability and price of Fireballs and Blackeyed Leucistic Royal Pythons?
Eric Page-Davies |
Eric, as I have posted on another link, no I have never contacted you personally about the prices of your BELs or Fires. I have replied to an advert on reptileweb with the picture below that is from Ember Reptiles that you are a "founder member" of so I figured they were your animals and your prices.

Thanks for answering directly Paul. I was most certainly NOT having a go at you, I was angered that Eggman was answering questions for you and making assumptions that were not in fact true.
You are correct in stating that I am a 'founder' member of Ember Reptiles, but I am not involved in any of the day-to-day dealings and was completely unaware of your previous enquiry to Mike, one of my partners. I concentrate upon breeding only, and being disabled and retired am not in contact with any of the dealings of the business.
I keep and breed stock at my home premises and my partners do likewise. Non of the pics were of what I still refer to as 'my snakes' but they are all of the same bloodline so I must accept you opinion except for the term 'poor quality', which tended to indicate that the quality of the snakes, and not just their coloration was in question. Thanks, Eric _________________ If you don't know, ask! |

THANK YOU. I would like to make one thing absolute, 100% clear. I joined this site because I have a huge passion and love for my animals. I wanted a place where I could share those experiences with other like minded people. I wanted to learn from others, both experts and novices and offer any help where possible. I gain great pleasure in showing off my collection and get tremendous pleasure in seeing others. All I want to do is wish others well in their endeavors. I have little time for being publically questioned and hope these comments gets this and other threads back on track.

How big is the BEL male?
Wil he not be ready for this season?
Cant wait to see what you produce!
Just a shame they are so expensive. _________________ Regards, Paul.

Hi Paul, the little BEL is about 3 months old. Now there are people that have bred with a 4 month old boy but I would like to STRESS this is NOT good. I am leaving it for probably another 4 months or so and see where he is with size and weight. It is possible if he is producing sperm that he may be able to 'contribute' to some matings. This is providing he has LOTS of rest in between matings and I can keep him eating throughout. I have proven Fire males that can be used as well so either way I would like to think that I would have some BELs late next year. I am running some Fire males through some normal females now so hopefully I will have a few Fires for sale earlier next year. I do not want to push this boy or any of the others so it will be a wait and see how things go.

I'm pretty sure I didn't answer any question "for" paul at all
and if I did, and was mistaken, I'm sure he would have corrected me, which funnily enough, he hasnt! |
Don't push it Eggman, you don't know me and wouldn't try it on if you did! You know only too well that you submitted a post in answer to a question that I asked Paul., i.e. that Paul wouldn't lie about not having contacted me personally.
Your arrogance is getting somewhat tiresome. I have been around since before you were born, I wonder if you will still be keeping snakes in ten years time? You sound to me as if you have jumped on the bandwagon for the potential 'big bucks' rather than just the love of the hobby itself. Those who do know me have been given snakes by me just for the hell of seeing them smile! _________________ If you don't know, ask! |

Right, so wheres your reply to the black eyed lucy thread?
Paul's opinion was not directed at me. He has never contacted me or asked me about the availability or cost of any of my Fires or Blackeyed Leucistics.
Well I'm pretty sure he wouldnt make it up for no reason.....
