i have a pure bred jungle and that does not look much like it,my own jungle has much more sharply angled head an jaw-line and is darker round the mouth.
in fact it does look more like, though by no means identical to,my own irian jayas, especially with the head shape and colours in the first pics. Smile

not all junglea are like yours ..if you look on the Aussie sites you will see what i mean ...there is a misconseption that all jungles have to look like the animal that you own ,this is not true there are black and yellow /brown and gold /black and white / brown and yellow /brown and white and various variations etc etc that include all colours ,the ones we see pictured on the net are usually trophy animals the ones we do not see are usually past there three years of age and looking dark unfortunately jungles tend to age badly ..
Heres a few pictures of jungle carpets
black and white

black and white living in Australia currently Sad

50/50 high yellow <real high yellow lol

my male black and cream jungle

Wow great pics Steve! Out of all of your pics my new guy looks closest to the black and cream jungle. I have a yellow JCP and an IJ and the marking are definitely jungle. Looking at your pics i actually prefer the black and white over the high yellow!

Cheers

Rick
