I would like go to Houten Reptile Show but can anybody tell me how it works when i buy something what do i need to bring it here by car some permition or ...Welcome any helpfull information or links |

Houten is in Holland which is part of the European Union....that means that ALL TRADE etc is treated the same as buying and selling within the UK.
You are FREE to bring in any animal (other than those covered under quaranteen restrictions/bird flu restrictions and now foot & mouth..oh yeah and blue tongue ).
Reptiles can therefore be bought in any EU country and transported back without any problems. I would however advise you to ensure that you have any cites papers/numbers for species that are covered by the CITES convention and also a good idea to get a receipt from the seller stating that the animals are captive bred and coming from an EU country.
Just remember though, sometimes customs officers don't know the law themselves so you may get delayed if stopped coming back, while they check up what you can and can't do _________________
