One of my baby royals is eating brilliant, has put on about 45grms but when goes to the toilet, the poo spreads flat on the newspaper and whiffs, to my noise a bit more than usual. Not at all cigar shaped like the others.
Have not thought to much about it as she is eating and growing great, BUT in the back of my mind a little bit of worry.

SO would a dose or 2 of the following as a precaution be wise????

beaphar anti flagellate
beaphar bea wormer

If so can these be administered via food??
or other advice as always very welcome.

Hi Mike, yep does seem a bit strange for that one and not the rest.

I'm not a big fan of dosing animals with drugs unless for specific reasons after a positive test.

I had quite a few CF royals last year from a particular batch that were all throwing up after each feed and very bad stools. I kept them real clean, no food for two weeks and fresh water almost daily. This was enough to shake of the 'stomach bug' and they have been fine ever since.

thanks
will drop off a sample at my vets and see what he comes up with.
Last time I went was with a tortoise and I had to tell him what was wrong with the tortoise and what the cure was. Twisted Evil and he still charged me £15 for the consultation as well as the medicine.
