Mark,I don't use the term "New Guinea" for the reduced pattern animals as I think it's misleading, there's no evidence at all to support the suggestion that they come from that side of the island.

maybe if you tried to pm Mark this could have been sorted on the quiet

now it looks like sour grapes to a few of us Laughing Laughing Laughing

SteveL,There's no suggestion of sour grapes from either side, just a discussion on naming and terminology.

Great looking jags Mark.. I must agree with SteveL, Paul.. It looks like you guys are having a go at each other.. :? .. I don't have any experience in keeping jags but I understood what the title was, every body has a different idea on things, end of the days they are great looking snakes, and I feel we should just leave it at that..

I don't see anyone having "a go" at anyone just a difference of opinion.
After all we are all allowed our own opinions. Cool

Sorry Stuart. You right though everybody is entitled to their opinions, it just seems that the arguing causes a distraction from the actual reason for the post and thats the snakes?....If I'm wrong, I wont post again on the thread

Well thanks for the compliments on the Jags, but I'm beginning to wish that I hadn't bothered posting.
As I have said they are 75% Irian Jaya Jags and they do have a reduced pattern.I think thats a fairly good description of them.
The Reduced Pattern Irian Jaya's are generally known as New Guinea's therefore to aviod any confusion if I paired a Reduced Pattern Irian Jaya to a Coastal Jag then back to a Reduced Pattern Irian I would call them 75% New Guinea Jags.
