Watch them 24 hours a day , poo is always a good sign. But you can never tell which one the poo is from or if there is a bit less food in the tank then you also won't know which of the 3 have eaten. Are they all housed together? That is one of the main problems that you'll face with having 3 new cresties together. |

Well if there's any poo in the single crestie tank then you know that one's eating. Just keep your eye on the other two, maybe get some good weighing scales and go from there. |

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Electronic-Scales
I got mine from there, I chose the 500g/0.1g scale. Meaning it can weigh up to a maximum of 500g and weighs in increments of 0.1g
To weigh my cresties I take them out and put them into a cricket tub with a lid on. Then weigh the cricket tub with crestie in. Write that down and then get the crestie out and weigh the cricket tub and lid, then just subtract that weight to get the crestie weight.
If you just want to weigh the cresties then I guess you would only need one that went up to 100g or so, but seen as they are all around the same price it doesn't matter. But make sure they go up in 0.1g's rather than 1g's as small cresties can take a while to gain a full gram. |
