I have my two cresties in an 18x12x12 exo terra at the mo,they seem fine but i have a 24x18x18 exo terra all set up waiting for them, they're 3/4 months old,was born around June i think and am just wondering at what age/size i could put them into the big one, would they be ok now or is it a little large for them. They weigh approx 11/12g. |

I don't think you could fit many Roy's in that tank, sorry
Jokes aside I think you would be fine to put them into the bigger tank. I am on the side that thinks that cresties benefit from more space/cover/hiding places (especially when in pairs or more). So long as you can still monitor their feeding and keep an eye on how they are doing they will be fine. |

lol yeah i'm not sure Roy would appreciate being crammed into an exo, hhah!!
I have some more plants coming this week so was wanting to move them over but wasn't sure if they might get stressed by the size,i can put the crix in a bowl so they can eat from that as well as throwing in a few for them to chase. |

IMO I don't think that cresties are the type to get stressed by big tanks. My guy went straight into the 45x45x60cm exo when I got him at 5 weeks old and has been in there ever since. Once they work out the setup and where everything is I don't think that they mind. |

Like Phil said, i don't think cresties are stressed by the larger viv sizes as long as they have plenty of hides and are able to find there food easily enough. I got mine back in June also and ever since i got him he has been in the 45*45*60 exo terra with no problems at all. _________________ 0.0.1 Rhacodactylus ciliatus (Crested Gecko) |

I can't comment personally on cresties but I have found that lizards tend to prefer more space to less
Wouldn't mind fitting into one of Gina's exo's, better furnished than my room
Do need some pics of the stickies in the new house though G-Dog _________________ MORE THAN 2! |
