Large enclosure required, although they are a very sedentary chameleon, they prefer horizontal branches as opposed to vertical branches.

Often they will remain in one place most of the day, moving at times to go under the dripper or for a brief period going higher in the viv to warm up in the mornings, their main requirement is water and plenty of it.

It is imperative for their well being to cycle their tempretures according to the seasons (adjusted to local seasonal variation); Spring day 23 night 18, Summer 25/20, Autumn 22/18 Winter 20/16 the light cycle needs to be adjusted accordingly also.
