they can still climb wood, but because of humidity and misting, the wood wouldnt last very long, i go with glass, and exo terra is best bet. _________________ bearded dragon/ 0.1.0

Yes, I would agree with sushi- a glass viv would probably be the more durable of the two. And exo-terras are relatively cheap for their size I think.. depending on where u get them from of course. _________________

Yup as already said I would go with glass tanks like exo's. If you used wood the humidity from mistings would probably cause it to swell, rot and leak.
It is possible to use wood though it would just have to be properly sealed and varnished which IMO is not worth it when the exo's are the perfect size. |

Having used both I would recommend a glass terrarium (the exo terras as mentioned are ideal). I housed a trio in a large wooden viv for about three years before it started to warp (and that was with it silicon sealed). _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

It's weird, I read on another forum that someone went into a pet shop to buy a crestie and the shop owner wouldn't sell it to them because they were going to use an exo terra. This shop keeper insisted that all glass tanks were unsuitable for reptiles as they don't keep the heat in (!) The person tried to explain that cresties have more problems from being overheated than under-heated but she was having none of it.
