Hi
Still puzzled by all this genetic stuff,
If I put a spider with an albino, all will be het for albino and approx half will be spider het for albino??

If I then put the Spider het albino with a albino what will I potentially get?

Also if you put a spider with a spider do you get all spiders?

Also if you put a spider het albino with a spider het albino what is the potential outcome?

If you put a actual spider/albino e.g. albino what can you get?

thanks
mike

spider het albino x albino = 25% chance of spider albino's, 25% chance of albino, 25% chance of spider het albino's, and 25% chance of het albino's.

spider x spider... hmmm i think you will get 75% spiders

Spider het albino x spider het albino

6.25% Wild type
12.5% Het. Albino,
6.25% Homozygous Albino,
12.5% Spider,
25% Spider, Het. Albino,
12.5% Spider, Homozygous Albino,
6.25% Homozygous spider (supposed to, but i don't think anyone has ever proved they have a homozygous spider - visually there's no difference),
12.5% Homozygous Spider, Het. Albino,
6.25% Homozygous Spider, Homozygous Albino,

correct not 100% sure on approx half will be spiders though.

"If I then put the Spider het albino with a albino what will I potentially get?"

I wouldn't bother doing spider het albino x spider het albino if you got an an adult albino available at the time.

I would do Spider het albino x albino, youd get:

25% het albino
25% albino
25% Spider het albino
25% spider albino
