| hi there everyone, can anyone give us any information on the chameleon dragon? we took one on as a rescue. it had been returned to the pet shop 4 times and we had it as its last hope. it has previously been sold as a tree dragon/mountain dragon so were pretty sure its not had the proper Enviroment . we have it in a 2,5 ft X2.5x2.5ft viv geared for aboreals. it has a heat mat, uv light and basking lamp. temp is in 90's falling to 80's with a large waterfall and swim pond. loads climbing branches and foliage. is misted 2,3 times daily. now the problem is feeding.at first it was meaty baby food mixed with reptile vits and syringed water we have moved on and got it to eat a worm yesterday abate we had to open its mouth and force it. we have been advised that these are secretive eaters and may not necessarily like an audience when it stuffs. but as general health and poor weight condition are an issue we need to regulate. we are giving rep vit, electrolide in the water, a restore stuff by mouth but wonder can we do anything else for this guy? Boris is approx 1 year old and now is believed to be wc. hes has some nasty scars and missing scales and a toe or two, and had lost all nails on one foot but these do seem to be trying to grow. looks like a meany but i think that adds to his charm! so any ideas anyone oh at the moment we are feeding gut loaded dusted crickets, locusts, and putting wax worms and worms into to tempt him, even leaving some fruit and veg that if he don't eat the feeder food is having a picnic, so well stuffed trying to tempt him. if any one can help please drop a line thanks Shelley |

i am sorry i do not know anything about tis species but i am sure that a picture would help with proper identification and therefore care tips from others
