could you do this in a 4ft fish tank with mesh roof? what sort of a tank are we talking? are the cricket breedign bins more suitable? |

You can, you would need to created a thermal gradient (same as for reptiles), also provide plenty of surface area, egg carton is the best for that. If I was to do it I would have a 150 bulb at one end, loads of egg carton standing up, then feed whole spring greens and a layers mash diet. the crickets should get enough moisture from the greens. The only problem you may have is if it is too dry for the crickets to shed, in which case put a couple of pieces of egg carton at the cooler end and tip a cup of water over them every day or so. _________________
