Hi all
Just getting different peoples views on feeding babies.
At the moment I have a loads of small rat fuzzies and currently my 2 albino and spider royal babies are eating one fuzz every two days, the rat fuzzies are just about the right size(girth of snakes) The female albino is 138 grms and only 1 month 1 day old  
What are peoples opinions e.g. feed them as much as they will eat while growing? Or a set e.g. every four day routine.
all comments/advice as always appriciated.

i dont breed royals but i certainly would not feed every two days
4 days is best imo gives them time to digest etc ..power feeding(to many meals ) snakes is not really good for the snake in the long run IMO

thats what i was thinking, I think i have just been a bit too boisterous wanting to give them the best start possible.

Feed ... Pooh ... Feed ... Pooh ... etc.,
... sort of regime then ...

If I did that with my adults they would only feed about once a month
save a few ££££££££££s
They have a knack of holding on to it for as long as possible.
Every 4 days for a while then every 5/7 days sounds good to me.

not with all snakes..if I done that with some of mine they would only get fed once a month..lol

I know some that do it with emeralds but most will feed up to 3 times before waiting until they defecate before offering another meal.

My 6 ' Bull - and yes that is BULL not Ball - has a very fast digestive system and she will poo within a week of being fed. Very messy it is too, not like the easily cleaned Ball poo...  |

lol..My indigos were even quicker..every 3 days or so and they would defecate guarenteed.
