My new vivs arrived last night....looking forward to switching them all over from the mesh vivs to these 60x45x60 exo terras.

The screen vivs worked great but started to get a pain to clean properly where as these should be a doddle to keep spotless.

First job is to silicone a support on either side, this will then hold the mesh shelf 8" off the ground, then the shelf will be filled with egg carton the same as the old system. The only thing that will be on the ground will be the nesting box.

yea they are great

they aint the best at keeping bugs in though . ive sealed up the top round the edges with black tape .

also wish the feet were just flat on the ground . means when ever a bug falls out they can hide under it straight away .

but other than the escapees you cant really fault them Smile

Something else to consider, i have had Day Geckos go down the back of the foam background. Not much fun to spend and hour or so ripping apart a tank to find that the gecko is happily hiding behind the panel!! Embarassed

Crickets will also hide behind this foam background. I have since replaced all the backgrounds with coco panels.
