just thought id post a few pics i took this year on holiday of various critters i found. mostly macro stuff, hopefully they are a bit of an improvement than the first pics i posted when i first got this lens last year. tell me what you think. thanks. Joel

That one with the rose on is a stunning shot really is.
Not seen shots like this for a while!
I love macro stuff.

What camera and lens u use?

thanks for your kind words. i took these with a canon 5D and canon 100mm f/2.8 ef lens. its a really great combo. i used to use a 350D but the massive viewfinder of the 5D has really helped with macro work.

on the pictures of the mantis, i used no flash. on the others i used the 430ex speedlite with an omni bounce diffuser over the top.
