It looks scary to me but has a lot of pixies so I guess its good Laughing

On a serious note:

I would imagine you need to know what your doing to use something like that, otherwise its a bit of a waste, I have yet to find a good sub 200 quid digital camera for macro work that can be operated by those that just want to point and shoot without any deep knowledge of photography skills. e.g. me Very Happy

Always thought your pics were fine, even the little salamander ones... What do you use now?

Not really that good, if I get a good shot its more luck than being bothered to read the instruction book Laughing

I use a Canon IXUS 850IS.

Had a Samsung before , nothing that I ever have had by Samsung ever seems to work for long. Crying or Very sad

Used an Olympus OM10 many moons ago I liked that camera a lot, and took many pics with it, I even managed to work out manual mode and used that all the time.

well all these nice DSLR usually have an auto modes with macro settings anyway (even tho shooting in manual always gets the better shots) but if you don't know what ya doing with all the F stops and so on then there fine. to get good macros u need good lens really or you can cheat and get those macro addon to a lens you already got but doesn't get the same quality.
