I will soon have some eggs and i would like to setup and ready before they hatch.

not sure the best way to do this, thinking of keeping them separate while they are in like there first 4-6 months so i can keep and eye on them and seem how much they are eating and so on.

i was thinking to get like 4 clear trays not too big and keep them all in a big clear box which will have a long heat mat going along one side so that they have a warm and a cool end. would i need to supple any lighting?

or has anyone got like ready made little Viv's that they can show me some pics of ?

many thanks in advance

The idea you describe sounds ok for them although i dont see why they all need to go into a bigger box? Ideally the heat strip only wants to heat a quater to a third of the tray, a hide at each end, a couple of upturned plant pot saucers are good for this, you can get a pack of 5 from B&Q for about 80p. Kitchen towell makes a good substrate for when the first hatch.
Good luck with them. Very Happy

Around 12"x8" for a baby and say 18"x12" for adult, but with the adults you can go bigger if you have the room or if you are keeping them as a group. Very Happy
