Hi
Can anyone help I bought 3 leo's 2 female and a male all around 8/9 months old about a month ago. They all settled in nicely eating well. The females seperate from the male. The male is eating and gaining weight every week, but the females over the past 2 weeks have not eaten anything except 1 or 2 crickets some days they won't eat at all. They are refusing mealworms. I have just put them in a dish sprinkled with calcium and a vitamin supplement once a week. I have dangled them in front of them. One is quite shy and hides alot and the other is quite active, all this has come about since they shed. They are in a 3ft x 2ft x18" wood viv with 2 hides 1 at the warm end one at the cool end and they also have a Moist hide near the warm end. They have a heat mat set at 88 degrees controlled by a habistat and digital thermometer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Hi
Thank you for your reply, I have adjusted the heat mat to 90 so fingers crossed, just hope they start to eat soon. The male is brilliant he is eating around 15 crickets a day in about 15 mins and sometimes he takes 3-4 mealies aswell. |

Do not worry to much because Leos can go quiet a long time with food as long as they don't rapidly start losing weight and there tail becomes skinny they should be okay! _________________ www.freewebs.co.uk/southeastreptiles |
